Contracting Out

Concrete Mold Making

A final means of helping to keep mold making costs low is to explore the possibilities of contracting out sections of the work. Two common areas that might be contracted out are the design process and the creation of a GRFC mold. For the design process, rather than keeping a concept artist in-house, it might be economical to use a contract artist. This allows you to hire them on a project specific basis, bringing them in when you really need them to sculpt models or provide concept illustrations, but saving the expense of having an artist on payroll full-time.
