Video games are the virtual version of the themed environments we are used to here at Streamline Automation. But, what if your video game came to life? These are exactly the kind of themed environments that have been the headlining attractions at the E3 Expo every year in Las Angeles, CA. This year was no exception!
Daniels wood Land, Inc. had the opportunity to reproduce a character from a brand new EA video game scheduled to be released next year; TITANFALL. The results were astounding!
The finished robot measures over 20’ tall.
It was made from 8 blocks of EPS foam and sprayed with our FROGSkin™ before all of the other particulars were added like paint and smaller details like bolts, screws, and padding.
But wait! Over 20” of foam couldn’t stand all by itself! Inside the foam is an engineered steel structure and base to keep it upright.
To top off the already outstanding project, there were also animatronic (moving) sensors and lighting.
With the power of FROG3D® and the absolutely amazing talent of the staff at Daniels Wood Land, Inc. it was constructed in just 3 weeks.
